Abstract
A process for preparing an electrochemically activated electrode for electrochemical reduction reactions, said electrode comprising at least one catalytic material based on at least one metal from group VIB supported on an electroconductive support. The process consists of performing an electrochemical treatment on an electrode comprising at least one catalytic material based on at least one metal from group VIB supported on an electroconductive support. This electrochemical treatment, carried out by cyclic voltammetry (CV) or chronoamperometry (CA), consists of an oxidation step under specific conditions.
