Abstract
Method for preheating a high-voltage battery of a vehicle and corresponding vehicle. The invention relates to a method for preheating a high-voltage battery of an electric or hybrid vehicle (200), using a thermal management system (1) capable of operating in heat pump mode, the preheating method comprising the following steps: - receiving a starting instant (td) of the vehicle (200) and an initial temperature (Tbatt_init) of the high-voltage battery, - estimating the thermal energy (Eth) to be transferred to the high-voltage battery so that it reaches a target temperature (Tcible), - determining an activation instant (tact) of the thermal management system (1) and its operating parameters (Rpm_30, ω, P22), and - preheating the high-voltage battery from the activation instant (tact), using the operating parameters (Rpm_30, ω, P22).The activation time (tact) is determined so as to minimize the electrical consumption of the thermal management system (1) during the preheating time.
