Abstract

------ Bioclimatic planter The planter comprises an outer casing (2) having a base plate (3) and a side casing (4); and within said casing: a water reservoir (7) resting on the plate (3) and having at least one opening in its upper part; a growing space above the reservoir (7) and separated from it by a separator (11); a water supply device (13) opening into the reservoir (7) and having a filling opening accessible from the outside; at least one capillary transfer cord (7) plunging into the water reservoir through said opening(s) in its upper part, and passing through the separator (11) to bring the water to the growing space, at least one free space (30) being provided between the casing (4) and the reservoir (7), and the plate (3) having at least one orifice (20;21) water drainage in communication with the free space(s) (30), at least one water drainage orifice (33) being provided in the separator (11) above said free space(s) (30), and, where appropriate, at least one water overflow passage (29) being provided at or near the upper edge of the water tank (7), and in communication with the associated free space (30).
