Abstract

A rotary tiller comprising a chassis (1) with two parallel wheels (2) connected by an axle, an engine (3) supported on the chassis (1), a handlebar (4), a power take-off for coupling and powering agricultural implements, a hydromechanical clutch unit connected to the engine (3) and the axle connecting the wheels (2), a gearbox, and a drive shaft. It incorporates a drive assembly for the hydromechanical clutch unit, consisting of an electrical switch (6) on the handlebar (4), an electrical storage battery connected to the engine (3); an electric motor (8) for driving the hydromechanical clutch unit, powered by the storage battery; and wiring (9) for connecting the electrical switch (6) to the electric motor (8), allowing the electrical switch (6) to be located in various positions on the handlebar (4). 1. A power tiller comprising a chassis (1) having at least two wheels (2), parallel and connected to each other by an axle, an engine (3) supported on the chassis (1), a handlebar (4) for operation, a power take-off (5) for coupling and supplying agricultural tools, a hydromechanical clutch unit connected to the engine (3) and to the axle connecting the wheels (2), a gearbox and a drive shaft, the power tiller being characterized in that it incorporates a drive assembly for the hydromechanical clutch unit, the drive assembly comprising at least: - an electrical switch (6), located on the handlebar (4); - an electric storage battery (7) connected to the motor (3); - an electric motor (8) for driving the hydromechanical clutch unit, powered by the storage battery (7); and - wiring (9) for connecting the electric switch (6) with the electric motor (8), sized to allow the electric switch (6) to be located in various positions on the handlebar (4).

2. Tiller according to claim 1, wherein the electrical switch (6) includes a locking / unlocking safety device. [Fig. 5]
