Title of the invention: Window shutter FIELD OF INVENTION

[0001] The invention lies in the field of building joinery.

[0002] The present invention relates more particularly to a window shutter, in particular a shutter whose slats are sliding and folding on each side of the window. STATE OF THE ART

[0003] Such a shutter is already known in the prior art.

[0004] This shutter comprises a frame and two packs of shutter slats, positioned to the right and left of the frame.

[0005] The frame is formed by the assembly of two vertical uprights and two horizontal crossbars, one upper and one lower respectively, each of these crossbars being provided with a longitudinal guide rail. Some of these rails have at each of their upper and lower ends at least one guide slide.

[0018] Thanks to these features of the invention, the frame is composed of the two crossbars assembled to the two main profiles and this frame can be handled by the installers independently of the blade groups.

[0049] By referring to figures 1 and 2, it can be seen that the shutter 1, according to the invention, comprises a frame 2, a first group of shutter blades 3 and a second group of shutter blades 4.

[0050] The first group 3 of blades comprises either a plurality of blades 30, 31 of which a first blade, called "gripping blade" 30 (as shown in [Fig.8]), or a single gripping blade 30 (as shown in [Fig.2]).

5. Louver (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the interlocking tab (81) extends in a plane (P2) which is parallel or substantially parallel to the plane (PI) of the support tab (82).

Louver (1) according to claims 2 and 3, characterized in that the longitudinal groove (728) of the outer wall (72) of the main profile (7) has a U-shaped section with one of its lateral walls (7281) perpendicular to the bearing face (727) of the main profile (7) and in that the secondary profile (8) includes a longitudinal transverse shim rib (84), which projects outward from the inner face (820) of the support lug (82), perpendicular to it, so that when the two profiles (7, 8) are in the assembly position, the transverse shim rib (84) is in contact with the lateral wall (7281) of the U-shaped section.

A method for mounting a window shutter (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, in the opening (E) of a building (B), characterized in that it comprises the steps: - fixing the two crossbars (61, 62) with the two main profiles (7) to form the frame (2), - fixing the frame (2) thus formed in the opening (E) of the building, - coupling the hook (80) of one of the two secondary profiles (8) with the complementary hook (301) of the hook slat (30) of the first group of slats (3) and coupling the hook (80) of the other of the two secondary profiles (8) with the additional hook (401) of the hook blade (40) of the second group of blades (4), -introduction of the guide slides (300, 400) of the louver blades into the respective guide rails (610, 620) of the two crossbars (61, 62) of said frame (2), then the successive steps: - the insertion of the interlocking tab (81) of each secondary profile (8) into the longitudinal groove (726) of one of the two main profiles (7), - application of the support lug (82) of the secondary profile (8) against the support face (727) of the main profile (7) with which it cooperates, - assembly of each secondary profile (8) and the corresponding main profile (7), by screwing at least one assembly screw (VB) through the support tab (82) of the secondary profile (8) and the internal wall (72) of the main profile (7).
