Abstract

The invention relates to a method for imaging a structure by guided elastic wave tomography, comprising, for each pair of sensors among a plurality of sensor pairs, each comprising a transmitting sensor and a receiving sensor, obtaining a measurement ( ) of a wave propagation field in the structure from the transmitting sensor to the receiving sensor and calculating a calibration coefficient enabling the measured propagation field to be related to a theoretical propagation field ( ). The calculation, for each pair of sensors, of a calibration coefficient comprises determining a pair of calibration factors comprising a calibration factor at the transmitting stage ( ) specific to the transmitting sensor of said pair of sensors and a calibration factor at the receiving stage ( ) specific to the receiving sensor of said pair of sensors.
