Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Electronic thermostatic head technical field
[0001] The invention relates to an electronic thermostatic head, and more particularly to an electronic thermostatic head intended to be installed on a tap of a hot water radiator. STATE OF PRIOR ART
[0002] It is known to have thermostatic heads comprising a base and a swiveling handle.
[0003] Most often, the pivoting handle rotates around a longitudinal axis of the handle and visual markers on the base indicate the angular position of the handle relative to the base.
[0004] Visual markers may, for example, correspond to the heating power levels of a radiator. This type of thermostatic head does not incorporate a return mechanism. In other words, when the handle is rotated, it remains in position after the user releases it.
[0005] There are also thermostatic heads using a return mechanism. With such a mechanism, the handle is naturally in a neutral position. A user can surreptitiously rotate the handle to an angular position different from the neutral position. The return mechanism then returns the handle to the neutral position as soon as the user releases the handle.
[0006] Such thermostatic heads often incorporate complex return mechanisms which are bulky and expensive.
[0007] In this context, it is necessary to provide a thermostatic head incorporating a simple, compact and inexpensive mechanical return system. Description of the invention
[0008] To this end, according to a first aspect, an electronic thermostatic head for a valve is proposed, the electronic thermostatic head comprising a base and a rotating handle linked to the base, the rotating handle being mounted to rotate about a longitudinal axis with a limited angular movement in order to move from a neutral position to a first functional position or a second functional position, the thermostatic head being characterized in that: - The handle includes a rotation stop. - The base comprises two elastic blades; when the handle is in the neutral position, each elastic blade is in contact with the stop; the first elastic blade returns the handle to its initial functional position. to the neutral position and a second elastic blade allows the handle to be returned from the second functional position to the neutral position.
[0009] Thus, the thermostatic head incorporates a simple, compact and inexpensive mechanical return system.
[0010] According to a particular arrangement, the handle is movable in translation along a direction of the longitudinal axis, in order to move from the neutral position to a third functional position, the two elastic blades allowing the handle to be returned from the third functional position to the neutral position.
[0011] According to a particular arrangement, the stop prevents the rotation of the handle when the handle is moved in translation, and the stop prevents the translation of the handle when the handle is moved in rotation.
[0012] According to a particular arrangement, the stop includes a base adapted so that when the handle is moved into the third functional position, the base deforms the elastic blades which tend to regain their shape by returning the handle to the neutral position.
[0013] According to a particular arrangement, the base is adapted to bear against a surface of the base when the handle is moved in rotation from the neutral position to the first functional position or the second functional position, to lock the handle in translation when the handle is moved in rotation.
[0014] According to a particular arrangement, the base has an imprint adapted to accommodate a complementary relief of the base when the handle is in the third functional position, the positioning of the complementary relief in the imprint blocking the handle from rotating.
[0015] According to a particular arrangement, the stop includes a tooth projecting on the base adapted so that in the neutral position the tooth is in contact with each elastic blade and when the handle is in the first or second functional position the tooth deforms the corresponding elastic blade which tends to regain its shape by returning the handle to the neutral position.
[0016] According to a particular arrangement, the handle includes a support pad on at least one contactor of the base.
[0017] According to a particular arrangement, the base includes a first contactor, and a second contactor, the two contactors being positioned so that the stud presses on the first contactor when the handle is in the first functional position, and the stud presses on the second contactor when the handle is in the second functional position.
[0018] According to a particular arrangement, the base includes a third contactor positioned so that the tooth presses on the third contactor when the handle is in the third functional position.
[0019] According to another aspect, a radiator comprising an electronic thermostatic head according to the invention is also proposed. Brief description of the drawings

[0026] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF IMPROVEMENTS
[0027] With reference to [Fig. 1], an electronic thermostatic head 1 for a valve is proposed. Typically, the electronic thermostatic head 1 is adapted to be fixed to a valve of a hot water radiator.
[0028] The electronic thermostatic head 1 includes in particular a base 2 and a rotating handle 4 linked to the base 2.
[0029] The rotating handle 4 is mounted to rotate about a longitudinal axis with limited angular movement in order to move from a neutral position to a first functional position or a second functional position. In other words, the handle 4 can pivot between three positions: the neutral position, the first functional position, and the second functional position.
[0030] According to the embodiment presented here, the handle 4 comprises a plurality of concentric snap-on teeth 20 adapted to be snapped into a hole 22 in the base 2. The linkage of the snap-on teeth 20 in the hole 22 ensures the rotational mounting of the handle 4 on the base 2.
[0031] In a particularly ingenious manner, as will be detailed below, the handle 4 includes a rotating stop 6 and the base 2 includes two elastic blades 8. Thus, when the handle 4 is in the neutral position, each elastic blade 8 is in contact with the stop 6. A first elastic blade 8 returns the handle 4 from the first functional position to the neutral position, and a second elastic blade 8 returns the handle 4 from the second functional position to the neutral position. In a particularly ingenious manner, when the handle is rotated into the first or second functional position, the blade The corresponding elastic is elastically deformed by the stop. As soon as the rotational force applied to the handle is released (i.e., as soon as a user releases the handle), the deformed elastic blade exerts a restoring force on the stop 6, which returns the handle to the neutral position.
[0032] Furthermore, the handle 4 is movable in translation along a direction of the longitudinal axis, in order to move from the neutral position to a third functional position. The two elastic blades 8 return the handle 4 from the third functional position to the neutral position. In a particularly ingenious manner, when the handle is brought into the third functional position, the elastic blades are elastically deformed by the stop. As soon as the translational force applied to the handle is released (i.e., as soon as a user releases the handle), the elastic blades exert a restoring force on the stop 6, which returns the handle 4 to the neutral position.
[0033] As schematically shown in [Fig. 3], according to a particular arrangement, each elastic blade 8 has an arc shape. In other words, according to a particular arrangement, each elastic blade 8 has a curved geometry. Furthermore, according to the example presented here, the elastic blades 8 are arranged opposite each other in a substantially concentric manner with respect to a center of their radius (arc) of curvature.
[0034] In a particularly advantageous way, the stop 6 prevents the rotation of the handle 4 when the handle 4 is moved in translation, and the stop 6 prevents the translation of the handle 4 when the handle 4 is moved in rotation.
[0035] As schematically shown in Figs. 4 and 5, the stop 6 includes a base 10 adapted so that when the handle 4 is moved into the third functional position, the base 10 deforms the elastic blades 8 which tend to regain their shapes by returning the handle to the neutral position.
[0036] Furthermore, the base 10 is adapted to bear against a surface 30 of the base 2 when the handle 4 is moved in rotation from the neutral position to the first functional position or the second functional position, to block the handle 4 in translation when the handle 4 is moved in rotation.
[0037] Furthermore, according to a particularly advantageous arrangement, the base 10 has a recess 12 adapted to accommodate a complementary relief 14 of the base 2 when the handle 4 is in the third functional position, the positioning of the complementary relief 14 in the recess 12 blocking the handle 4 from rotating.
[0038] In addition, the stop 6 includes a tooth 16 projecting on the base 10. The tooth 16 is adapted so that in the neutral position the tooth 16 is in contact with each elastic blade 8 and when the handle 4 is in the first or second functional position the tooth 16 deforms the corresponding elastic blade 8 which tends to return to its shape by returning the handle 4 to the neutral position.
[0039] In addition, the handle 4 includes a stud 18 for support on at least one contactor of the base 2.
[0040] The base 2 includes a first contactor and a second, the two contactors being positioned so that the stud 18 presses on the first contactor when the handle 4 is in the first functional position, and the stud 18 presses on the second contactor when the handle 4 is in the second functional position.
[0041] According to a particular arrangement, base 2 includes a third contactor.
[0042] According to a first embodiment, the third contactor is positioned so that the stud 18 presses on the third contactor when the handle 4 is in the third functional position.
[0043] According to a second embodiment, the third contactor is positioned so that the tooth 16 presses on the third contactor when the handle 4 is in the third functional position.
[0044] According to another aspect, a radiator including the electronic thermostatic head is also proposed.
