Abstract

COMPOSITION COMPRISING AN AMPHIPHILE INORGANIC UV FILTER AND POLYOL The present invention relates to a composition comprising: (a) at least one amphiphilic inorganic UV filter, preferably an amphiphilic metal oxide, and more preferably amphiphilic TiO2; and (b) at least one polyol, wherein the amount of (a) the amphiphilic inorganic UV filter in the composition is greater than 6% by weight, preferably greater than 7% by weight, and more preferably greater than 8% by weight, relative to the total weight of the composition. The composition according to the present invention can provide improved UV protection and improved whiteness. Figure for abstract: none
