Abstract
A device for securing heavy components on a rail, an assembly comprising such a device and an associated method of use. The present invention relates to a device (10) for securing at least one modular component (12) placed on a rail (14), the device (10) comprising: a mounting base (20) that can be inserted onto the rail (14); a reversible fixing (22) of the mounting base (20) onto the rail (14); a clamping element (24) configured to bear against a modular component (12) parallel to the rail (14); a linkage (26) configured to move the clamping element (24) relative to the mounting base (20); characterized in that the linkage (26) is configured to move the clamping element (24) relative to the mounting base (20) along a longitudinal axis A-A' parallel to the rail.
