ELECTRONIC MOTOR VEHICLE CARD, DESIGNED TO PROVIDE REMOTE ALARMS VIA INTEGRATED SENSORS ON THIS CARD

Abstract

An electronic circuit board (2) mounted in a motor vehicle includes a set of sensors (11), including a location sensor and a motion sensor, capable of detecting the presence of a living being in the passenger compartment, an intrusion, or an attempted intrusion. The location sensor is often supplemented by a speed sensor to detect unauthorized movement of the vehicle. A microprocessor (12) processes the signals from the sensors to send alarms, via an antenna (15), to an external receiver, which can be the owner's mobile phone when they have left the vehicle. All the sensors used are mounted on the same substrate (8) as the microprocessor (12) to contribute to the reliability of the alarms. (Fig. 2)
