Abstract
The invention relates to a ball valve comprising: - a body with an inlet and an outlet defining an axial fluid flow path, - a ball (2) rotatably mounted in the body, - a valve seat associated with a sealing device between said seat and the body, the sealing device comprising: - a single-wave-shaped metal seal (30), - an external reinforcement (4) consisting of two parts: a first part (40) movable in translation, integral with the seat and sealed to one end of the wave; and a second fixed part (41), integral with the body and sealed to the other end of the wave, - the two parts defining a housing (430) receiving the wave and having a shape corresponding to that of said wave.
