Abstract

Control circuit for a switching half-bridge, this switching half-bridge comprising two controllable solid-state switches arranged on either side of a midpoint, each switch comprising a control input, one switch being connected to a voltage source, the other to a reference potential. The control circuit, being capable of driving the switches of the half-bridge, is connected to a DC driving voltage source and comprises: - A trigger circuit, comprising two inputs and one output, the second input being connected to the midpoint of the switching half-bridge, and comprising a capacitor connected between the second input and the output; - A first and a second switch driver, each comprising two inputs and one output, the output of each driver being connected to the control input of the first and second switches of the half-bridge respectively. The inputs of the first driver are connected to the output of the priming circuit and the midpoint of the switching half-bridge respectively, and the inputs of the second driver are connected to the pilot voltage source and a reference potential respectively. The control circuit is characterized in that it comprises a switching circuit capable of disconnecting the first input of the priming circuit from the pilot voltage source when the second switch of the switching half-bridge is driven in the open position.
