Snuffle toy

Abstract

A snuffle toy 1 for retaining or concealing dog toys or treats, with a body portion 2 formed of a sheet of material such as fabric, and one or more integrally formed snuffle features 3. The snuffle features may be single 4 or dual sided pockets 5 . The pockets may be formed away from a peripheral end of the sheet. Pockets may be coincident on the front and back of the sheet. The pockets may be formed by folds. Snuffle features may be a snuffler row including a plurality of loops. The snuffle toy can be folded, rolled and / or tied [1, fig 16]. A method of forming a snuffle toy by folding, sewing and cutting is also disclosed. The snuffle toy may be used for entertaining, or puzzling dogs, for enrichment and to mentally stimulate dogs. Folding and tying the sheet allows the complexity to be adjusted for different levels of intelligence or training.
