Improved locking device

Abstract

A locking device for a fastener comprises at least a body having at least one aperture (185) and a central through-hole. At least one further body (186) is held in the aperture (185). The further body may be a clip (186) with at least one tab having a pair of arms which engage the sides of the aperture (185). One arm may be formed from two leaves and has an end portion which juts above a surface of the device to engage an adjacent surface and which in use, deflects within the aperture the tab jams against the opposing surfaces and resists loosening of the fastener.
