Abstract

A modular building assembly comprising a modular building unit comprising an internal volume and an external wall, a service module and an entrance module, wherein the external wall of the modular building unit comprises a walkway opening and a service module opening through which the service module can be removable positioned at least partly within the internal volume so as to be adjacent to the service module opening, and the entrance module is configured to be positioned externally of the modular building unit adjacent the walkway opening such that it restricts removal of the service module through the service module opening when so positioned.
