Abstract

The invention provides a composition for inhibiting protein carbonylation and application of the composition. The composition of the present application comprises a first component and a second component, the first component comprising an umbelliferae carrots extract, a cruciferae brassica extract, an azaleaceae vaccinium extract, and an amaranaceae spinach extract as active ingredients; the second component comprises tocopheryl acetate as an active ingredient, and the mass ratio of the active ingredient of the first component to the active ingredient of the second component is 1: 20000 to 3.2: 1. By utilizing the composition provided by the invention, cell protein carbonylation caused by oxidative stress can be delayed, so that the aging state of a human body is improved. The main components of the composition are plant extracts, so that the composition is low in skin irritation, safe, effective and environment-friendly, and a new direction is developed for the development of pure natural whitening and anti-aging cosmetics. The invention further provides a preparation method of the composition and application of the composition in preparation of products for inhibiting protein carbonylation.
