Abstract

This product is a portable microorganism observation device that has a communication function and transmits image data to an external device (e.g., a smartphone, a tablet, etc.), and is composed of a main body and a cap that is set on the main body. The main body has a sample placement section for placing a sample, a lens module into which light that has passed through the sample is incident, an image sensor into which light that has passed through the lens module is incident, and a communication section that transmits image data captured by the image sensor to an external device. The sample placement section is exposed at the center of the upper surface of the main body, and the lens module, the image sensor, and the communication section are built into the main body. The cap is composed of a transparent cap body and a light source that is attached to the cap body and irradiates light onto the sample placed on the sample placement section of the main body. When using the product, first, a sample is placed on the sample placement section and the cap is set on the main body. After that, the light that has passed through the sample is guided through the lens module to the image sensor and imaged, and the image data is transmitted from the communication section to the external device, and an image of the sample is displayed on the display section of the external device based on the image data.
