Abstract

This item is a blank made of a flexible material such as cardboard, which, through folding, bending, pressing, gluing, and other processes, becomes the outer shell of a bottle-shaped packaging container with a bottom, body, shoulders, and neck. A pouch or other inner container is suspended within the outer shell of the packaging container, secured to a separate cap attached to the neck. The packaging container is used by filling and storing liquids or other contents within the inner container. The portion of the packaging container blank for which design registration is sought is the portion related to the mechanism connecting the bottom of the outer shell to the body. The "bottom plate" and "legs" shown in the "Reference Diagram Showing the Names of Each Part" of the packaging container blank constitute the bottom of the packaging container, and "side wall plate 1" and "side wall plate 2" constitute the body. The "adhesive member" is a component for fastening the "bottom" and "body" of the molded container. Each "leg" is bent at a substantially right angle downward relative to the outer surface of the "bottom plate" at the folding position indicated by the dashed line in the "reference diagram showing the folding position in the enlarged view of A-A' section." Then, "side wall plate 1" and "side wall plate 2" connected to the legs are folded back at the folding position of the connecting portion indicated by the dashed line in the "reference diagram showing the folding position in the enlarged view of A-A' section" and are arranged upright relative to the inner surface of the "bottom plate." The plate surfaces of "side wall plate 1" and "side wall plate 2" are bent into an arc shape around the circumferential direction of the body, and the side edges of "side wall plate 1" and "side wall plate 2" are glued together with each other in an overlapping state, forming a cylindrical body that corresponds to the outer peripheral shape of the bottom plate (see the "reference diagram showing the cross section of the portion connected by the connecting portion"). The two "adhesive members" connected to the legs are folded back at the connecting positions with the legs, as shown by the two-dot chain lines in the "Reference diagram showing folding positions in the enlarged view of A-A' section," and are adhered to the inner walls of the bottom portions of the opposing "side wall panel 1" and "side wall panel 2" (see the "Reference diagram showing the cross section of the portion connected by the adhesive members"). The "shoulder portions" of "side wall panel 1" and "side wall panel 2" are shaped to connect to the body of the bottle by press working or the like, and the "neck portion" is similarly shaped to connect to the shoulder portion of the bottle when molding the outer shell of the packaging container.
