Packaging bags

Abstract

The article according to the present application is used, for example, for packaging or storing potting soil, and has an overall shape of a roughly rectangular parallelepiped. The article according to the present application is manufactured by inflation processing polyethylene terephthalate resin, cutting it at regular intervals, and heat-sealing the bottom to form a bag body with an opening at the top. Two notches are made at the top and bottom of the end of the bag body, and the notch is then heat-sealed in a semicircular arc shape around the notch. The article according to the present application is filled with potting soil or other materials through the upper opening of the bag body, and then the top of the bag body is heat-sealed to seal the contents. When storing the packaging bag with the contents sealed inside, the bag body is stored horizontally and stacked flat. During transportation, the packaging bag is supported by horizontal movement to prevent the contents from shifting. When opening the packaging bag, the bag can be opened by tearing the bag body in the vertical direction, using either the upper or lower notch portion as the cutting edge, over the upper or lower heat-sealed portion. If an attempt is made to open the bag by mistake from the notch portion, the semicircular arc-shaped heat-sealed portion acts as an obstacle, preventing erroneous opening.
