Scroll guide function image

Abstract

The image displayed in the image section is a scroll guide image for when a user attempts to scroll a GUI displayed in a so-called xR space, such as virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR), using their fingers. When a user's fingers are placed in the xR space, a gradient shadow is displayed in the overlapping area between the GUI and the finger image (enlarged view 1 of the image displayed in the image display section). As the fingers are extended further back, the width of the gradient narrows, giving the impression that the fingers are moving closer to the GUI (enlarged view 2 of the image displayed in the image display section). When the fingers are extended to the scroll position, the gradient disappears, giving the impression that the fingers are touching the GUI (enlarged view 3 of the image displayed in the image display section).
