Abstract

This item is an input / output device used in a network-compatible data collector that takes in input data and digital signals of process quantities such as temperature, transmits them to an external computer, and collects and monitors the data on the external computer. As shown in the "front, top, and right side perspective views with the cover removed" and the "front, bottom, and left side perspective views with the cover removed," a plurality of input / output terminals (screw terminals) are provided on almost the entire front surface to form a terminal group. As shown in the "front view," a cover is normally attached to the terminal group, and the cover is removed when connecting input / output wiring. As shown in the "rear view," a rail insertion section through which a DIN rail is inserted horizontally is provided in the center of the back, and a DIN rail lock lever for fixing the input / output device to the DIN rail is provided at the lower right of the back. As shown in the "right side view," a header-type connector is provided in the center of the right side. As shown in the "left side view," a receptacle-type connector is provided in the center of the left side. As shown in the "Front View," the circular section appearing on the upper right is an LED that displays the operating status (normal startup / operating, parameter initialization, failure prediction alarm, various errors, etc.). As shown in the "Plane View" and "Bottom View," the multiple elongated rectangular sections that appear lined up on the left and right are heat dissipation holes for releasing heat from within the case. This product is used by inserting the rail insertion part into a DIN rail and fixing it to the DIN rail with the DIN rail lock lever, as shown in the "Reference Oblique View of the Product Mounted on a DIN Rail." As shown in the "Reference Diagram Showing the State of Use", this item can be used by connecting one or more units, and is attached to a DIN rail alongside other devices equipped with various functions such as power, communication, input, and output. The right protrusion on the rear side of this item is inserted into the hole of the device on the left, and the protrusion of the device on the left is inserted into the hole on the rear side of this item to align the devices, and the receptacle-type connector is connected to the header-type connector of the device on the left, and the receptacle-type connector is connected to the header-type connector of the device on the right to form a data recorder. The protrusion and holes prevent the devices from shifting positions after they are connected. With this data recorder, the arrangement and combination of the devices can be changed depending on the application and situation.
