Abstract
This product is an automatic product imaging device for small electronic products including smartphones and tablets, which is composed of an imaging chamber arranged at the back of a table of a rectangular parallelepiped main body, a six-axis robot arranged at a position facing the entrance opening of the imaging chamber, and a product placement section with six rows of racks arranged on the opposite side of the six-axis robot. Here, the products that this product targets for imaging include, in addition to the small electronic products, small electrical products including mills, small household items including tableware, and clothing products including shoes. The imaging chamber is equipped with a downward-facing camera installed in the approximate center of the ceiling on the inner surface, an LED light source lighting device arranged along the side edge of the ceiling so as to surround the camera, and a product placement stand arranged on the table approximately directly below the camera. The six-axis robot is equipped with a product holding section such as an air suction type at the tip of the tip arm, and the back (or front) of the products arranged on the rack of the product placement section is sucked and held by the product holding section. In this holding state, the 6-axis robot is operated to sequentially face the camera directly toward each side of the held product, including the front (or back) (if the product is rectangular, the left and right sides, top and bottom end faces, and all four corners, for a total of 10 sides), and images of each side are captured. In the middle of capturing images of each side, the product is temporarily placed on the product loading platform, and the product's holding surface is changed from the front (or back) to the back (or front), and images of each side are captured. Once images of each side (10 sides) have been taken, the product is returned by the 6-axis robot to the rack for products that have been captured in the product loading section.
