Abstract

This is a protractor that allows the angle to be clearly recognized visually. The scale and numbers are printed on either the left or right half of the semicircular protractor, in the same way on the front and back. As can be seen in the front and back views, the scale starts at 0°, with the 1° scale being the shortest, and is colored in a staircase pattern from the 2° scale to 5°, so that the angle can be recognized by the colored length. Next, the next starting point is 6°, and similarly, the scales are colored in a staircase pattern up to 10°. Since the scale of this product has a different colored length for each degree, the angle can be recognized quickly and reliably compared to conventional scales with equal intervals. In the front and back views, the scale is colored in black, but coloring it in a staircase pattern in color makes it easier to recognize. Figures 1 and 2, which explain the usage state, show an example of using this product as a hallux valgus measuring device. Figure 1, which explains how to use the device, shows the hallux valgus angle of the right foot being measured, and Figure 2 shows the hallux valgus angle of the left foot being measured after the device has been turned upside down. It can be seen at a glance that the hallux valgus angle on both the left and right feet is 35°.
