Abstract

This image is displayed on an information display mounted on an electrically assisted bicycle. As shown in the "Reference diagram showing the names of each part," there are two types of gauges: an assist output gauge and a cadence / pedaling force gauge. For example, "Reference diagram 1 showing the changed state" shows the state where the bicycle is stopped, and "Reference diagram 2 showing the changed state" shows the state where the amount of assist and the amount of pedaling are almost equal. "Reference diagram 3 showing the changed state" shows the state where the amount of assist is high, and "Reference diagram 4 showing the changed state" shows the state where the amount of assist is low and the amount of pedaling by one's own power is high, allowing one to instantly grasp one's own performance while riding. Also, the color of the assist output gauge changes when the assist mode is switched.
