Abstract

The article is a stiffening part used in a secondary battery pack case that constitutes a battery pack installed in, for example, a hybrid vehicle, an electric vehicle, etc., and is made of a metal plate or the like. The secondary battery pack case is composed of a case body that houses secondary battery cells and a case lid that seals the case body, and the article is attached to the inside of the case body when in use, as shown in the "reference perspective view showing the state of use." The article has flanges on the bottom and one longitudinal end, and as shown in the "reference perspective view showing the state of use," the flanges abut against the side walls and bottom of the case body and are attached to the case body by spot welding, laser welding, arc welding, bolting, adhesives, etc.
