Glasses case

Abstract

This item is an eyeglass case with an owl motif. The exterior surface of the case features a pattern of two owls. One owl is wearing glasses. The other owl is not wearing glasses, representing an owl that has lost its glasses. The owl's eyes are lenses. The inside of the case has two leaf-shaped mirrors (1) shown in "Reference Figure 2 (Inside) Showing the Opened State" and a nose-shaped stopper (2) shown in "Reference Figure 2 (Inside) Showing the Opened State." The case is opened and closed by hooking the center of the glasses onto the stopper and aligning the magnetic part (3) shown in "Reference Figure 2 (Inside) Showing the Opened State." The shaded area in "Reference Figure 3 (End View of the Cross Section Along Line AA)" represents the lenses. If you lose your glasses, you can open the case and use the raised part (4) shown in "Reference Figure 3 (End View of the Cross Section Along Line AA)" as a handle to look through the lenses and find your glasses. You can also use the mirror to check that your glasses are not resting on your head.
