Product hanging mount

Abstract

This article is a hanging mount used when displaying and selling products such as clothing. It can also be transformed into a simple packaging container. As shown in Reference Figures 1 to 3, the holders 20 and 21 at the bottom of the mount base 1 are folded inward along the fold line 24 (see Reference Figure 2(b)). The notches 23 provided in the holders 20 and 21 are inserted into each other to form a small frame in front of the mount base 1 (see Reference Figure 2(c)). The top of the folded product is inserted and held in this small frame. Next, the front holder 30 holds the folded product so that it encases the front side of the product. The front holder 30 is positioned forward of the product holders 20 and 21 by the fold line 32. A locking protrusion 33 is provided at the tip of the front holder 30, and is inserted into the locking notch 10 of the mount base 1 from behind to secure it. After this, the mount base 1 is folded downward along the upper fold line 13 toward the back (see Reference Figures 3(e) and (f)), and then folded along fold line 42 so that the locking protrusion 44 and bottom plate portion 41 contact the front surface of the mount base 1. Then, a suitable commercially available display hook is inserted into the through hole 14 drilled in the center of the top of the mount base 1, completing the assembly of the hanging mount (see Reference Figures 3(g) and (h)). Next, to transform the hanging mount in the state where the product is hanging (Reference Figure 4(a)) into a simple packaging container, the product itself is lifted upward to a position approximately flush with the bottom end of the mount base 1, the locking protrusion 44 and bottom plate portion 41 inserted into the space between the front holding portion 30 and the mount base 1 are pulled out, and the suitable display hook is removed (Reference Figures 4(b) and (c)). Then, the back surface 4 is folded forward so that the reverse side becomes the front surface, and the locking protrusions 44 are inserted from the rear into the locking notches 11 of the backing base 1 to secure it in place. Note that the top plate 15 and bottom plate 41 give the packaging container a box-like shape after deformation, allowing it to store products of a certain thickness.
