Pelvic floor acupressure device

Abstract

This device is an acupressure device for applying pressure to the pelvic floor. It is molded from a resin material with moderate elasticity, and is compact, palm-sized, with a length D1 of approximately 90 mm at its widest point and a height D2 of approximately 59 mm. The user places the device on a seat, such as a chair or the floor, sits on it, and applies pressure to the pelvic floor using their body weight. When the user sits on the device, the multiple protuberances 11-14 press from below on the left and right areas of the user's pelvic floor, bounded by the ischial ramus, ischial tuberosity, sacrotuberous ligament, anus, and coccyx. This allows the device to loosen these areas, which are areas that can be effectively used to improve urinary incontinence. Of the protuberances 11-14, protuberances 11 and 12 correspond to the user's left pelvic floor, and protuberances 13 and 14 correspond to the user's right pelvic floor. Additionally, the bottom surface of this product, which is the surface that rests on the seat, is formed convexly in the front-to-back direction of the user when they are sitting on the product. This induces forward and backward tilt of the pelvis, allowing the user to naturally apply appropriate pressure to the left and right pelvic floors to massage and loosen them.
