Abstract

The camping hammer, which is the article of the present design, is a hammer for driving in pegs for securing ropes for camping tents and tarps. The head, which has a striking surface, has a flat surface on which the hammer can be placed upright. The end opposite the head (striking portion) also has a hooked peg-removing portion. This peg-removing portion releases the driven-in state of the peg by rotating it around the longitudinal axis of the peg while hooking the head of the peg with the hook and biasing it to fall down.
