Abstract

The article to which the design of the present application relates (hereinafter referred to as the "article") is a sleeping bag that can be used as a disaster prevention sleeping bag (disaster prevention product) in emergencies such as disasters, and can also be used as a cushion in the living room, etc., in everyday life (see the six-sided drawing of the cushion state). Furthermore, in order to provide both protection from the cold and ease of use in evacuation shelters, the article has two slit-shaped openings on the left and right above the part where a person's torso is stored when the sleeping bag is in the sleeping bag state, as shown in the front view. As shown in the reference drawing showing an example of a state of use, both arms can be put out when the person is inside the sleeping bag, and further, by opening the lower part of the part where a person's torso is stored when the sleeping bag is in the sleeping bag state, both legs can be put out when the person is inside the sleeping bag. Furthermore, as shown in the front view and the front view of the sleeping bag when opened, zippers are attached to each of the two slit-shaped openings, and the slider that makes up the zipper has pull tabs on both the front and back sides. One of the pull tabs, i.e., the pull tab on the back side (inside the sleeping bag; see the front view of the sleeping bag when opened), has a string attached to it, allowing the zipper to be easily opened from inside the sleeping bag even in dimly lit places such as an evacuation shelter. Furthermore, as shown in the front view, the zipper is attached so that it extends from the lower edge of the part of the sleeping bag that fits a person's torso to the left side. This zipper is a double zipper with two sliders, and a tag is attached only to the pull tab of one of the sliders, i.e., the slider used to close the section from the lower right end to the upper left end (see the enlarged view of the double zipper portion in the front view of the sleeping bag when opened), allowing the sleeping bag to be easily closed without using the wrong slider, even in dimly lit places such as an evacuation shelter. The tag attached to only one slider pull tab should preferably be a color that is easy to see in dimly lit places such as evacuation shelters. For example, as shown in Reference Figures (1) and (2), if the sleeping bag itself is a dark color such as navy blue, gray, or black, it is preferable to use a red tag (see, for example, Reference Figure (3)). In addition, by fully opening the double zipper, this item can be opened and used as, for example, a rug, as shown in the front view of the sleeping bag in its open state.The sleeping bag has a hood-like shape, as shown in the front view, which can cover the entire head or part of the head while inside the sleeping bag. For example, the hood can be used as an eye mask by covering the eyes with it. The hood edge can be tightened by pulling the string extending from the end of the hood, allowing the size of the opening where the face is exposed to be adjusted. As shown in the diagram showing the inside of the hood of the sleeping bag, it is preferable to provide a storage compartment inside the hood for storing a removable pillow.
