Abstract

As shown in the "Reference Drawings Showing the State of Use," the article "retainer" of the present design can be used, for example, as a leveling band that holds a pipe (such as a drain pipe) at a predetermined height using a retaining part that moves axially while guided by a pair of bolts attached to a base plate. The retaining part includes a main body that moves axially along the bolts while guided by the pair of bolts, a pair of sliding parts that move back and forth between engaging and disengaging with the thread grooves on the outer surface of the bolt, and a cable tie that is detachable from the main body. The base plate and bolts are made of metal, and the retaining part is made of synthetic resin. Hollow, roughly rectangular cylindrical guided parts are provided on the left and right sides of the main body of the retaining part (Reference Drawing 1). When the sliding parts are inserted into the guided parts, the engagement grooves eventually engage with the thread grooves on the outer surface of the bolt, preventing the retaining part from moving up or down (Reference Drawings 2-5). This state is maintained by the locking claws of the sliding part engaging with the claw grooves of the guided part. To ensure this retention, remove the locking pin from the slide and insert it into the notches on the front and rear of the guided section and the through-holes in the slide (see Figures 6 and 7). When the locking pin is not inserted into the notch and through-hole, the slide can be moved away from the guided section. The retaining section can then be raised and lowered once the engagement groove disengages from the threaded groove on the bolt's exterior. The slide cannot be completely removed from the retaining section by the locking projections on the slide abutting the edges of the notches on the guided section. The cable tie can be attached to the main body by passing it through the left and right through-holes that run through the main body in an inward-outward (upward-downward) direction, with part of the loop passing through the outer (bottom) side of the bottom of the main body when the cable tie is looped (see Figures 8-11). Attaching an attachment to the retaining section also allows for stable retention of smaller diameter pipes (see Figure 12).
