Abstract

This item is an assembly-type fire pit used for making fires at campsites and other locations. As shown in Reference Figures 1 and 2, this item consists of one bottom plate, two side plates 1 and 2, six side plates, two top plates, and one grate. These components are assembled on-site, such as at a campsite, to be used as a fire pit. The assembly of this item is performed, for example, as follows: First, a pair of protrusions on the bottom plate are inserted into the rectangular holes provided at the bottom of each of side plates 1 and 2. Next, with side plates 1 and 2 facing each other (hereinafter, this state will be used), each of the six side plates is inserted so that a pair of notches on the side plates fit into a notch on the left side (or right side) of side plate 1 and a notch on the right side (or left side) of side plate 2, which is provided at the same height as the notch. Next, the grate is inserted so that a pair of protrusions on the grate fit into a rectangular hole in side plate 1 and a rectangular hole in side plate 2, which is located at the same height as the rectangular hole. Finally, the two top plates are inserted so that a pair of notches on the top plate fit into a notch on the upper left (or right) side of side plate 1 and a notch on the upper right (or left) side of side plate 2, respectively, completing the fire pit. According to this product, side plates 1 and 2 have multiple rectangular holes in the height direction, and the height of the fuel placed on the grate can be adjusted by selecting the opposing rectangular holes. In addition, pots, frying pans, trivets, etc. can be placed on the pair of top plates, and skewers can be hung through the opposing notches on the top edges of the top plates. Furthermore, as shown in Reference Figure 3, this product can be prepared in multiple sets and assembled using the same components, allowing multiple sets to be connected and used together. The fire pit shown in Reference Figure 3 uses two sets of this item.
