Buffer material for conveying

Abstract

This article relates to an assembled cushioning material for transport, used when transporting cargo in a container, truck, or the like, and can be placed between the container wall or the cargo compartment wall of a truck and the cargo during transport. As shown in the exploded view, this article can be assembled from flat plate-like members and includes a cylindrical body having a roughly rectangular parallelepiped outer shape and flaps protruding from the edges of the body. As shown in the reference diagrams showing the use state and the insertion process, the article can be attached to the cargo by inserting the flaps into the gaps between adjacent cargoes when multiple cargoes are loaded on a pallet. Placing the article between the container wall or the cargo prevents the cargo from shifting or collapsing during transport. After transport is complete, the flaps can be removed from the gaps and the flat plate-like members can be unfolded as shown in the exploded view and disposed of.
