Abstract

This article is an operating device for steering a vehicle. The article is installed near the driver's hand, for example, at an angle using a separate arm. It can also be installed by attaching it to the console of a passenger vehicle without using an arm. The component part including the protrusion of this article is rotatable around the position of the rotation axis, allowing the driver to rotate this component part left and right to perform steering operations. A non-rotating plate is provided on the back side of the component part including the protrusion. The driver can place part of their hand on this plate to more easily rotate the component part including the protrusion. As shown in the reference diagram showing the usage state, various holding methods are possible, including placing part of the palm on the arc part of the plate and placing the hand on the protrusion part near the center of the front and upward, placing the hand on the indentation part from an angle, pressing the left and right indentations with the thumb and little finger, or placing the hand on one of the left and right protrusions from below.
