Smartphone attachment with eyecup

Abstract

The present article is a smartphone attachment that can be attached to the back of an image capture device (e.g., a smartphone). The present article includes an eyecup. The present article is used by placing the curved portion of the eyecup of the present article around the user's eye and fitting the eye into the eyecup. This allows, for example, to block out ambient light and set an appropriate distance between the user's eye and the image capture device in order to clearly capture an image of the user's eye using the image capture device.
