Motorcycle luggage

Abstract

The article of this design is luggage for a motorcycle. The luggage is attached to the rear of the motorcycle. The luggage includes a lower component or tub, an upper component or lid, a rear or panel, one or more hinges, a latch assembly or latch, a backrest, a rack, a speaker pod, and a tail light. The hinge pivotally connects the lid to the tub about an axis. The latch secures the lid to the tub in a selectively closed orientation. Engaging the latch allows the lid to be lifted, providing access to a storage compartment within the tub. The tab defines a tail light recess that accommodates a tail light. The tail light is secured to the tab (e.g., with fasteners, clip connectors, etc.). A rear panel connects to the tab and is positioned to cover the bottom of the tail light and at least a portion of the wiring connected to it. The rack is connected to the upper surface of the lid.
