Abstract
The features of this protractor are as follows (1) to (4): (1) In the front view, the angle scale consisting of 0° to 180° clockwise on the outer periphery of a semicircle is marked in 10° increments, but to make the 1° increments easier to see and measure, the 5° increments are made longer than the other increments, and a stepped scale is formed continuously, with the 1° increments being the shortest and the 2° increments and subsequent increments being successively longer until the 10° increments is the longest. Of the stepped increments, the 2°, 4°, 6°, and 8° increments of each 10° increment are marked in a circle at the top, wider than the width of each increment, to form easy-to-see circular scales. Additionally, the numbers "0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 110, 120, 130, 140, 150, 160, 170, 180" are displayed for each 10° scale increment, with a light red band behind them to make the numbers easier to read. Furthermore, multiple inverted triangle-shaped markings are formed at the top of each half (5°) of the 10° scale increment, each filled with an inverted triangle for easy identification. (2) The lower right portion of the front view is formed as a rectangular bulge that bulges slightly downward from the right radius of the semicircular product. When measuring the angle of the object being measured, the left end of the bulge can be used as the base point. (3) In the rear view, the angle scale consisting of 0° to 180° is marked counterclockwise on the outer periphery of the semicircle, and in order to make the 1° markings easier to see and measure, the 5° markings are made longer than the other markings, and a stepped scale is formed in succession, with the 1° markings being the shortest and the 2° markings and beyond being successively longer until the 10° markings are the longest. Of the stepped scales, the 2° markings, 4° markings, 6° markings, and 8° markings in each of the 10° markings are each marked in a circular shape that is wider than the width of the markings, forming easy-to-see circular scales. In addition, the numbers "0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 110, 120, 130, 140, 150, 160, 170, 180" are displayed for each 10° scale unit, with a light blue band behind them to make the numbers easier to read. Furthermore, the tops of each half (5°) of each 10° scale unit are filled with an inverted triangle to form multiple easily identifiable inverted triangular scale marks.(4) The lower left part in the rear view is formed as a rectangular bulge that bulges slightly downward from the left radial part of the semicircular object, and when measuring the angle of the object to be measured, the left end position of the bulge can be used as the base point.
