Abstract

This bird scare rod is used to scare away and repel harmful birds in agricultural fields, orchards, and other areas. It consists of a long, horizontally extending rod-shaped boom with a rotatable propeller attached to its end or midway, the propeller's axis of rotation perpendicular to the direction of the boom's extension. The propeller is rotated by a motor, causing the entire boom to rotate in a horizontal plane. Numerous strips (strips) hang from the bottom of the boom. As the boom rotates, the strips flutter in the wind, creating a sparkling effect and enhancing the bird-scaring effect. The boom is connected to a support member near one end opposite the end with the propeller, and this support member is supported by a pole or tripod erected on the ground. A box- or plate-shaped structure is attached to one end of the boom, ensuring the stability and strength of the entire device and functioning as a battery. Furthermore, this structure is equipped with an antenna, which can detect approaching birds using an external sensor and communicate that information to activate the motor and rotate the propeller. In addition, a solar cell is installed near the boom's battery, which allows the battery to be charged. A reinforcing wire is installed connecting the solar cell to the middle of the boom, further improving the strength and balance of the entire device. Furthermore, multiple LED lights are installed in parallel on the side of the boom, providing a visual deterrent, which is particularly effective at night.
