Abstract

This item can conceal the chest area that may become exposed when a patient wears a jinbei-style patient garment that fastens with ties in two places. Because it can be worn by pulling it over the head and tying the ties at the front of the body, it can be easily worn over a patient garment, even when an IV drip or electrocardiogram monitor is attached, and effectively conceals any disarray around the chest. Furthermore, because the back fabric covers the sides of the body and the ties are fastened at the front, the ties do not cause discomfort or pain on the sides of the body even when the patient is lying on their side.
