Abstract

The article relating to this design is a thermometer for head protection, which is attached to head protection equipment such as helmets, hats, caps, etc., to measure the core body temperature of the wearer at the forehead of the wearer wearing the head protection equipment. As shown in the "Reference Front View Showing the Names of Each Part," the article has a horizontally elongated main body containing a measurement sensor, a circuit board, and a battery, a pair of band parts extending from one longitudinal edge of the main body and having an annular portion at the end, and a pair of engaging projections protruding from the other longitudinal edge of the main body and engaging with the annular portions of the pair of band parts, and is made of a flexible material such as silicone rubber. In actual use, as shown in the "Reference Diagram Showing the State of Use" and the "Reference Enlarged View of Part A," the back side of the main body is brought into contact with the portion of the headband located on the lower inside of the head protection equipment that corresponds to the wearer's forehead, and the pair of band parts surround the headband, engaging the annular portions of each band part with the engaging projections, thereby attaching the article to the headband and enabling measurement of the wearer's core body temperature at the forehead.
