Abstract

This GUI is displayed to allow the user to select and identify a portion of the screen by circling it. The image shows the user touching and circling the area they want to identify. As the area is circled, the image transitions to the transformed image 1, then the transformed image 2. When the user finishes touching the area in the transformed image 2, the transformed image 2 changes only in shape, without significantly changing the color and position of the trajectory surrounding the area, and then transitions to the transformed image 4 via the transformed image 3. Subsequently, the transformed image 4 automatically transitions to the transformed image 5, without significantly changing the shape of the four corners displayed by the trajectory surrounding the area and their positions. The transformed image 3 and transformed image 4 represent the process of the area being identified. The transformed image 5 displays image elements that allow the identified area to be shared, edited, translated, saved, or cropped into a specific shape. The modified image (Figure 5) shows the state where it is possible to select to cut out the identified region into an abstract shape.
