Corner caps for baseboards

Abstract

This product is a corner cap for baseboards, used to cover the outer corners of baseboards installed at the junction of a building's wall and floor. Baseboards are fitted into the right and left sides of this product, respectively. This product can be used not only with baseboards that have a groove extending linearly along the longitudinal direction on the back surface, but also with baseboards that do not have a groove extending linearly along the longitudinal direction on the back surface, as shown in Reference Figures 1 and 2 illustrating the usage. The rear end of this product has two plate-like protrusions that are installed vertically upward from the bottom surface and become thinner towards the tip. Therefore, by simply fitting the baseboards into the right and left sides of this product without using adhesive, the positions of the baseboards fitted into this product will not change even if force is applied to the baseboards from the outside, and this product will not come off the baseboards.
