Abstract

The product of this application is a tile carpet used for laying on floors, stair treads, and the top surfaces of steps within buildings, and its pile covers not only the surface but also the side edges. The tile carpet of this application may be used by combining multiple tiles to cover a floor or the like, or by laying a single tile on a floor or the like. When multiple tile carpets, including the product of this application, are used to cover a floor or the like, the portion of the combined tile carpets that is laid on the outer perimeter, including the side edges that are not adjacent to other tile carpets, can be said to be the portion for which design registration is sought. On the other hand, when only one tile carpet of this application is used to cover a floor or the like, the portion of that tile carpet, including the side edges all around, can be said to be the portion for which design registration is sought. Furthermore, the color of the product of this application is not limited. Furthermore, the overall shape of the article in question as a carpet tile is not limited, and the overall shape may be, for example, a square, rectangle, right triangle, right isosceles triangle, other triangles, rhombus, parallelogram, hexagon, octagon, circle, ellipse, etc., and the part for which design registration is sought may be provided on any side or perimeter of these overall shapes.
