Ventilation valve for drain pipes

Abstract

This article relates to a drainage pipe vent valve that is installed at a predetermined location in a building's drainage pipeline to provide ventilation to the pipeline. As explained by the reference diagram of its usage, this article comprises a valve housing that contains the valve and a cover that covers the intake port which is opened and closed by the operation of the valve. It is attached to a branch pipe connected to the drainage pipeline, and when the inside of the drainage pipeline becomes negatively pressurized, the valve opens, allowing air to be drawn into the drainage pipeline and relieving the negative pressure.
