Abstract

This product is a barber / beauty salon chair used for hair, skin, and nail treatments. As shown in [Front View], [Rear View], [Right Side View], [Left Side View], [Top View], [Bottom View], [Perspective View], [AA Reference Cross Section], and [Reference Perspective View], this product has legs that extend or retract vertically, and a chair body connected to the upper end of these legs where the person being treated sits, and the chair body is raised and lowered by the legs. The chair body has a seat, a backrest positioned above the seat with a gap between them, and a pair of left and right armrests connected to the seat and backrest. The armrests consist of a pair of left and right first longitudinal members attached to both sides of the seat, a pair of left and right second longitudinal members that bend at the front ends of the first longitudinal members and extend upward, a pair of left and right third longitudinal members that bend at the upper ends of the second members and extend backward, and a fourth longitudinal member that bends at the rear ends of the third longitudinal members and extends toward the opposite third longitudinal member. The legs consist of a disc-shaped base that contacts the surface, a cylindrical or cylindrical leg body connected to the center of the base and extending upward, and a piston cylinder built into the leg body. Because the legs are connected to the center of the base, the posture of the chair body is stable. The piston cylinder may be hydraulic or pneumatic, and an operating pedal for raising and lowering the piston extends backward. The operating pedal is a metal pipe that is bent as appropriate. The backrest is positioned above the rear end of the seat, with a gap between it and the seat. The top of the backrest is inclined backward relative to the vertical (see [right side view] and [left side view]). When viewed from the side, the top surface of the backrest is curved in an arc, and the boundary between the front and top surfaces is rounded (see [right side view], [left side view] and [AA reference cross-section]). Therefore, it conforms naturally to the back of the person being treated. The outside of the backrest is piped. The piping extends along the edges of the left and right sides of the backrest, between the left and right sides and the bottom surface, between the left and right sides and the front surface, and between the left and right sides and the top surface, and also along the edge of the back surface and the top surface on the back of the backrest. The piping on each surface is continuous. The backrest is given definition by the piping. The armrests are made of bent metal pipes. The left and right first longitudinal members are fixed to the lower ends of the sides of the seat (see [right side view] and [left side view]). The first longitudinal members extend from near the rear end of the seat towards near the front end of the seat on the sides of the seat, and are slightly shorter than the front-to-back length of the seat. The first longitudinal member and the second longitudinal member are loosely connected, and the orientation of the second longitudinal member is perpendicular to the first longitudinal member.
