Abstract

This product is a barber / beauty salon chair used for hair, skin, and nail treatments. As shown in [Front View][Rear View][Right Side View][Left Side View][Top View][Bottom View][Perspective View][AA Reference Cross Section][BB Reference Cross Section][CC Reference Cross Section][Reference Perspective View] and [Right Rear Lower Reference Perspective View], this product has legs that extend vertically and a chair body connected to the upper end of the legs where the person being treated sits, and the chair body is raised and lowered by the legs. The chair body has a seat, an upper body support positioned above the seat with a gap between them, and a connecting part that connects the seat and the upper body support. The upper body support has a backrest and a pair of left and right armrests that extend forward from both ends of the backrest. The connecting section has a pair of left and right first connecting members that extend diagonally from the rear of the legs to the front and side of the seat along the bottom surface of the seat, and a pair of left and right second connecting members that bend at the front end of the first connecting members on the side of the seat, extend upward, and connect to the bottom surface of the armrests. The legs have a disc-shaped base that is in contact with the mounting surface, a cylindrical or cylindrical leg body that is connected to the center of the base and extends upward, and a piston cylinder built into the leg body. Because the legs are connected to the center of the base, the posture of the chair body is stable. The piston cylinder may be hydraulic or pneumatic, and an operating pedal for raising and lowering the piston extends to the rear. The operating pedal is a metal pipe that is bent as appropriate. The piping is continuous across the upper edge of the front of the seat, the upper edges of the left and right sides, and the upper edge of the back of the seat.The piping is located approximately two-thirds of the way down from the bottom of the seat (see [Front View], [Right Side View], [Left Side View], and [Rear View]). A footrest is attached to the front end of the bottom of the seat and extends forward and toward the surface it is placed on. The footrest is a metal pipe that has been bent as appropriate. The upper body support consists of a backrest and armrests that are integrated and are positioned above the rear and left and right ends of the seat, with a gap between them and the seat. The upper body support has cushioning material on the inside and is covered on the outside with natural or artificial leather. The upper body support curves in an arc from the back to the left and right sides. When viewed from above, the backrest curves in an arc and bulges toward the rear, while the armrests extend generally straight forward when viewed from above (see [Top View]). Because the height of the armrests is lower than the height of the backrest, when viewed from the side, the upper surface of the upper body support slopes gently downward from the backrest to the armrests relative to the horizontal. The back of the upper body support is tilted backward at the top relative to the vertical. Piping is applied to the outside of the upper body support. The piping extends along the edges of the left and right sides of the upper body support, between the left and right sides and the front, and between the left and right sides and the top (see [rear view]). The piping on each surface is continuous. When viewed from above or below, the outer curved surface of the seat and the outer curved surface of the upper body support are generally similar (see [plan view] and [bottom view]). Also, when viewed from the side, the rear surface of the seat is on the extension of the back of the upper body support (backrest) (see [right side view], [left side view] and [AA reference cross-section]). The connecting part is made of bent metal pipe. At the bottom of the seat, the left and right first connecting parts are connected at the rear of the seat body and extend from the rear of the seat body to the outside of the left and right sides of the seat ([CC Reference Cross Section Diagram]). The first and second connecting parts are loosely connected, and the orientation of the second connecting part is perpendicular to the first connecting part. The second connecting part is connected to the underside of the upper body support. Overall, the design features a harmonious balance between the curves of the backrest and the circular shape of the seat. The connecting part that links the upper body support and the seat passes through the side of the seat and connects to the armrest, creating a space between the backrest and the seat. Therefore, when a user sits and leans back, the backrest flexes sufficiently towards the rear. Thus, comfort is achieved.
