Abstract

The article "air intake" related to the present design is a device installed in a grid-type system ceiling facing an interior space, which allows indoor air to flow into the space above the ceiling. This air intake comprises a roughly box-shaped outlet body that surrounds an opening with a long, narrow rectangular cross-section and has its top closed with a top surface. The air intake body has an opening that leads to the interior space below, while an openable and closable opening leading to the space above the ceiling is provided on the side of its front side. With the introduction of the ceiling chamber system, the conditioned air flowing into the opening of the air intake body proceeds into the space above the ceiling through the opening on the side, which serves as a path for taking in indoor air and expelling it to the outside. Because the air intake body is long and narrow and installed parallel to the support frame of the system ceiling, it can be installed in the system ceiling in combination with other ceiling fixtures without looking out of place, resulting in a cohesive and stable ceiling design.
