Abstract

This product is constructed by connecting multiple rail toys together to form a crossroads, and a barrier mechanism is incorporated into the product to raise and lower a barrier bar, allowing one vehicle to travel on one priority track to proceed first, while blocking the other vehicle from traveling on the other non-priority track. The vehicles are self-propelled, and the driving force of their wheels activates the barrier mechanism incorporated into the product by rotating rollers exposed on the track surface before and after the crossroads, or by freeing the rollers to temporarily stop the vehicle. As shown in the reference perspective view illustrating the usage state, when vehicle A on the priority track approaches the crossroads, it is temporarily stopped by the rollers of the barrier mechanism, and at the same time the rollers rotate to lower the barrier bar. After the bar is lowered, vehicle A resumes travel and passes through the crossroads, where it is temporarily stopped by the rollers exposed on the priority track surface after passing the crossroads, and at the same time the rollers rotate to raise the barrier bar. After the bar is raised, vehicle A resumes travel. On the other hand, when the barrier bar begins to descend, the rollers on the non-priority road surface located just before the intersection become free. When the other vehicle B reaches these rollers, the rollers rotate to temporarily stop it. When the barrier bar rises, the roller rotation stops, allowing vehicle B to resume its journey and pass through the intersection.
