[0014] The present invention will now be described based on preferred embodiments with reference to the drawings. 1 to 5 show an embodiment of an outer container 10 according to the present invention and a bag-in-box 1 equipped with the outer container 10. The bag-in-box 1 includes an outer container 10 and an inner container 3 accommodated in the outer container 10. The inner container 3 of the bag-in-box 1 includes an inner main body 30 consisting of a bag or pouch formed from a flexible sheet, and a pouring portion 31 attached to the inner main body 30 (see FIG. 5). Examples of the flexible sheet material forming the inner main body 30 include synthetic resin sheet materials such as polyethylene, nylon, and polyethylene terephthalate (PET), and sheet materials laminated with these materials.
