Abstract

To provide a printer capable of producing prints by switching between existence and non-existence of an adhesive on record media while preventing enlargement of a device.SOLUTION: A printer 1 comprises: a printing part 3 carrying out printing on recording paper P; a cutter 4 having a fixed blade 41 and a movable blade 43, and cutting the recording paper P along a width direction through moving of the movable blade 43; an adhesive transfer unit 7 coating an adhesive G on a rear surface of the recording paper P; and a transfer roller 17 arranged opposite to the adhesive transfer unit 7 and pressing the recording paper P on a side of the adhesive transfer unit 7 to transport the recording paper P. The adhesive transfer unit 7 is integrally assembled with the movable blade 43, and is provided so as to move along a moving direction of the movable blade 43 with the movable blade 43.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
